![]() ![]() I was able to get several bass out of one package of baits flipping a lot of various wooded cover. The baits hold up well to the cover, big flipping hooks with keepers and mean bass not wanting to be pulled from their hiding spots. It seemed to be the right bit of action in tight quarters to persuade a whole bunch of bass this spring to bite. It goes through the cover easily but it displaces a good bit of water when you separate the two tails and let it flutter. I had some smashing days on the Strike King Menace Grub when I paired it with a Fish Boss Punch Skirt, Eco Pro Tungsten Flippin weight, and the Strike King Heavy Cover Flipping Hook. I spent several months dunking soft plastics on heavy flipping gear in flooded cover.
